How it works

How Qafila works

One open marketplace where licensed Hajj & Umrah agencies compete for pilgrims — and qualified pilgrims come to agencies.

For pilgrims

Licensed agencies compete for your trip — you compare and choose the one you trust.

For agencies

Qualified pilgrims come to you with dates, group size, and budget — bid only on the ones you want.

The marketplace, in five steps

  1. 1

    You post a request

Tell agencies your trip — Hajj or Umrah, dates, number of travellers, and budget. It takes about a minute.

  2. 2

    Approved agencies bid

Only admin-approved, licensed agencies can bid — and they have a 24-hour window to send their best offers.

  3. 3

    You compare offers

See each agency's price, package, rating, and reviews side by side, and pick what fits you.

  4. 4

    You accept exactly one

Choose a single winning offer. Accepting it closes the request.

  5. 5

    You finalize directly

Contact details are exchanged, and you arrange and pay for the trip directly with the agency — never through Qafila.

For pilgrims

Why pilgrims start on Qafila

Completely free for pilgrims

You never pay Qafila anything — not to sign up, not to post, not to accept an offer.

Agencies compete, you choose

Instead of calling around, you post once and licensed agencies come to you with their best price.

Only licensed agencies bid

Every bidding agency has its trade license and MoRA license verified by our admins first.

30-second signup, no documents

Sign up with Google and your mobile number. No NID, no passport, nothing to upload.

Your details stay private

Your full name, photo, phone, and email stay hidden from agencies until you accept a bid.

Optional Verified badge

Verify your identity if you like — it earns a Verified badge that tends to attract stronger offers.

Honest ratings only

Ratings and reviews come only from pilgrims who genuinely matched with an agency — no fake reviews.

You never pay Qafila for your trip

Every trip payment goes straight to your chosen agency. Qafila never touches your trip money.

Step-by-step guides

Posting your first request

  1. 1

Sign up in about 30 seconds with Google and your mobile number — no documents needed.

  2. 2

Post one request: Hajj or Umrah, travel dates, number of travellers, budget, and any notes.

  3. 3

Approved agencies then have 24 hours to send their offers. You can keep only one request open at a time.

  4. 4

No offers within 24 hours? The request closes and you can post a fresh one. A request that still has zero bids you can also cancel yourself once it has been up for 12 hours.

  5. 5

Compare offers and ratings, then accept exactly one. You then receive the winning agency's name and phone number to finalize directly. Note: once a request has any bids, it can't be cancelled, and you can't post another until you accept one.

Placing your first bid

  1. 1

Register your agency and submit your trade license, MoRA license, NID, and passport for admin verification.

  2. 2

Once an admin approves you, bidding unlocks. New agencies start with 10 free tokens.

  3. 3

When a pilgrim posts a request, you get an instant alert. Open the lead to see dates, group size, budget, and preferences — plus the pilgrim's first name and Verified badge if they have one.

  4. 4

Place your offer: a price, a short package summary, and a message. Each bid costs one token, and there's no limit on how many requests you bid on.

  5. 5

If the pilgrim accepts your bid, you receive their name, phone, and email — the deal is entirely yours, with no commission to Qafila. Agencies that don't win are simply told which agency did.

Trust & safety

Verified on both sides

Agencies are trade-license and MoRA verified by admins before they can bid. Pilgrims can optionally verify their identity for a Verified badge.

Report and review

Rate every agency you match with, and file a fraud report if something's wrong. Admins review reports and can freeze agencies that break the rules.

Payments stay off Qafila

Every trip payment goes directly to the agency you choose. Qafila never handles or holds your trip money.

Frequently asked questions

Is Qafila a travel agency?

No. Qafila is a marketplace that connects pilgrims with licensed travel agencies. It is not a travel agency and is not a party to any trip contract.

Who sets the prices?

The agencies do — each competes with its own offer, so Qafila sets no trip prices. Agencies pay to use Qafila; see the Pricing page for that.

How do I pay for my trip?

Directly to the agency you choose, outside Qafila. Qafila never handles trip money.

What if something goes wrong?

You can rate and review the agency and file a fraud report. Admins review every report and can freeze agencies that break the rules.
